Four police officers have been shot dead in an ambush at a coffee shop in Washington State, police say.

Ordinarily this may have been ascribed to be the handiwork of a psychopath, a drug dealer with a beef to settle, a terrorist maybe or just about anybody who had a score to settle with this particular group of officers. It could have been just one of the officers and the offender decided to leave no evidence. Whatever happened back in the Forza Coffee house in Parkland, Washington State definitely needs much more scrutiny than the usual. It is highly unusual for just one person to take out four armed officers and escaping the scene without a trace. If this was a Hollywood movie which unfortunately it is not, than such a person would have been labeled a professional. This is the kind of brazen attack that can only occur in a country where there is a total break down of law and order.
Some indicators that this may not have been a random attack is how this correlates to certain incidents that occurred in the US this past few weeks.
  • An Officer of the United States Army on the 5th of November 2009 turned his weapon on his peers killing 13 before being taken down. This same officer is currently being tried for murder, and I am wondering why he is not being tried for treason instead since this is obviously his crime.
  • President Obama's first presidential state dinner was crashed by two uninvited guests on the 24th of November 2009 putting to shame all the security arrangements put in place to prevent this kind of occurrence. If they can do it, I bet there are several copycats out there who are willing to do the same thing. This is why the call by some senators to bring charges against the couple should be heeded.
I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I could not help take a second look at these events after reading Margaret Atwoods t
The Handmaids Tale written in 1985 about a fictional upheavel in the USA that turned that country into a military/religious dictatorship.

Handmaid's TaleThe Handmaid's TaleIt just seems so uncanny that a book written in 1985 will be making allusions to terrorism and enviromental degradation, events which are ocuring right now. Top this with the never-ending economic crisis that seems to have the US in its grips and the uncertainty of the Chinese stand regarding the dollar.

Can events of these nature drive the conservative right to desperation and make them do something that is totally out of this world.? Well, read the book and be the judge.
